Crab Dip

Crab Dip Prep Time 10 mins Total Time 10 mins Servings 4 to 8 servings Yield 2 cups   Ingredients 1/2 cup mayonnaise 1/2 cup sour cream 1 cup cooked crabmeat  (fresh is best) 2 tablespoons minced shallots, green onions or red onions 1/2 teaspoon dried dill , or 1 1/2 teaspoon fresh dill 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest 1 teaspoon lemon juice 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar,  or 1 1/2 teaspoons dry white wine 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce Salt and pepper Method Make the dip: Combine mayonnaise, sour cream, shallots, dill, lemon zest, lemon juice, white wine vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl. Gently fold in the crabmeat. Salt and pepper to taste. Chill for 2 hours or overnight. Serve with crackers or carrots and celery.

Crabmeat Roll-Ups This is an easy and delicious spread, and yet another way to use tortillas for an appetizer. The mixture can also be used without the tortillas as a spread on crackers. Recipe by KATE MARIE Prep Time:10 mins Additional Time:8 hrs Total Time:8 hrs 10 mins Ingredients     1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened     ¼ cup cocktail sauce     1 (8 ounce) package imitation crabmeat, chopped     ¼ cup shredded Swiss cheese     ¼ cup chopped green onion     4 (8 inch) flour tortillas     ½ cup additional cocktail sauce for dipping Directions In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese and cocktail sauce until well blended. Stir in crabmeat, Swiss cheese, and green onion. Spread about 1/2 cup of the mixture onto each tortilla, and roll up tightly. Wrap each tortilla in plastic wrap, and refrigerate overnight. Slice rolls into 1/2 inch circles, and arrange on a serving tray with a bowl of cocktail sauce for dipping.

Pork Chop and Potato Casserole My family loves this pork chop casserole recipe. It is easy and delicious. Pork chops are browned, then baked in a creamy mushroom sauce with potatoes, onion, and cheese.  Recipe by WANTU   Prep Time: 20 mins    Cook Time: 1 hr    Total Time: 1 hr 20 mins Ingredients     1 tablespoon vegetable oil     6 boneless pork chops     1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup     1 cup milk     4 potatoes, thinly sliced     ½ cup chopped onion     1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese Directions Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place pork chops in the oil, and sear. Combine condensed soup and milk in a medium bowl. Arrange potatoes and onions in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Place browned pork chops over potatoes and onions, then pour the soup mixture over everything in the dish. Bake 30 minutes in the preheated oven. Crab Rangoon Egg Rolls Here is a recipe for Crab Rangoon Egg Rolls that's work trying: 16 oz cream cheese, softened 8-12 oz shredded crab meat (you can use imitation crab meat) 4 green onions, diced 3 cloves garlic, minced 3 tsp soy sauce 1/2 tsp onion powder 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/4 tsp black pepper 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1 package egg roll wrappers Oil for frying Instructions: In a large bowl, mix together the cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce until well combined. Lay out an egg roll wrapper with one corner pointing towards you. Place 2-3 tablespoons of the filling in the center of the wrapper. Fold the bottom corner up over the filling, then fold the sides in towards the center. Roll the wrapper up tightly, sealing the top corner with a bit of water. (Recipe by Angie Gorkoff) Prep Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 20 mins Total Time: 45 mins Ingredients 12 whole fresh mushrooms 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 1 tablespoon minced garlic 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper ¼ teaspoon onion powder ¼ teaspoon ground cayenne pepper Directions Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Clean mushrooms with a damp paper towel; carefully break off stems. Chop stems extremely fine, discarding the tough end of stems. Step 2 : Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and chopped mushroom stems; fry until any moisture has evaporated, taking care not to burn garlic. Set aside to cool. It makes for a hearty and delicious bowl of comfort food.  Prep Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 35 mins Total Time: 45 mins Ingredients     1 (7.25 ounce) package macaroni and cheese     ¼ cup butter        ¼ cup milk     1 (10.5 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup     1 (5 ounce) can tuna, drained and flaked     ½ cup milk     1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese     1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley, or to taste (Optional)     ¼ cup bread crumbs     ¼ cup butter, melted     ½ teaspoon dried dill weed, or to taste (Optional) Directions Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Sweet Chili Sauce (via Schnucks) The secret is in the sauce! Try dipping spring rolls in this Sweet Chili Sauce for a delightful treat. Ingredients 1/3 cup rice wine vinegar 1/4 cup Schnucks honey 1/3 cup water 1 tbsp. chili paste 1 tsp. minced garlic 1 tsp. grated ginger 1 tsp. Schnucks less-sodium soy sauce 1 tsp. ketchup Instructions Whisk together all ingredients. Cover and refrigerate at least 10 minutes before serving.

Honey Mustard Vinaigrette

Honey Mustard Vinaigrette (via Schnucks) This Honey Mustard Vinaigrette is the perfect compliment to any salad! Ingredients 1/4 cup Schnucks olive oil 2 tbsp. Dijon mustard 1 tbsp. minced garlic 2 tsp. Schnucks honey 2 tsp. lemon juice 1 tsp. Schnucks black pepper 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves Instructions In a small bowl, whisk together all ingredients until emulsified, 2-3 minutes. Taste and adjust salt and pepper as needed. Store and refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 7 days.

Apple Crisp in the NuWave Oven

Apple Crisp in the NuWave Oven Serves: 10-12  4 apples, peeled & cored ⅛-inch thick ½ cup flour ½ cup brown sugar, firmly packed ½ cup quick cooking oatmeal ¼ cup butter, softened ¼ cup granulated sugar ¾ teaspoon cinnamon Slice apples into ⅛-in slices and place in lightly buttered 8x8-inch baking dish. In medium bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, oatmeal and butter until well mixed. Pat oatmeal mixture onto apples. In small dish, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle sugar mixture evenly over apples. Place pan on 1-inch rack and bake at 300˚F for 25 minutes or until apples are tender and juices are bubbly. 7. Mediterranean Tuna Pasta Salad (TNT) Prep Time 10 minutes Cook Time 10 minutes Total Time 20 minutes Servings 4  Ingredients •    1 pound pasta (any short noodle- i.e.: penne, rigatoni, bowties, etc) •    2 jars canned tuna •    1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes •    4 diced scallions green and white parts •    1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley •    2 tbsp capers •    1/4 cup sliced kalamata olives •    1 zested and juiced lemon •    1 clove of minced garlic •    1 tsp dried oregano •    1/4 cup olive oil •    salt and pepper to taste  Instructions 1.    Prepare the pasta according to the instructions on the package, prepare slightly al dente so that it holds up in the pasta salad. Drain and set aside to cool. 2.    In a large bowl, combine tuna, sun dried tomatoes, scallions, parsley, capers, and olives.  Bacon and Cream Cheese Filled Mushrooms A super easy, super delicious finger food that's perfect for cocktail parties to tailgating get-togethers! Yield: 16 Prep Time 15 minutes Cook Time 12 minutes Total Time 27 minutes Ingredients 16 medium size mushrooms 1/2 cup (4 oz) cream cheese (optional: 2 or 3 rashers of bacon, fried, but not super crisp) (optional: fresh or dried herb of your choice) Instructions Wipe the mushrooms with a damp cloth (never wash mushrooms) and remove the stem. No need for a knife, just pull the stem to one side and it pops out. If using, fry the bacon gently, then chop it into little pieces. Mix the bacon pieces into the cream cheese, until evenly mixed. If using herbs, mix it into the cream cheese. Stuff a little of the cream cheese mixture into each mushroom cap and place on a foil lined baking sheet.
