Italian Dressing Seasoning Mix

Prep Time 5 minutes

Total Time 5 minutes

Ingredients

2 Tablespoons dried oregano
1 Tablespoon garlic powder
1 Tablespoon onion powder
1 Tablespoons dried parsley
1 Tablespoon sugar
1 Tablespoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

Measure all of the ingredients into a small bowl or mason jar. Stir or cover and shake until well combined. Store in an airtight container (2 Tablespoons of spice blend = 1 store bought packet such as Good Seasons Italian dressing seasoning).

Recipe makes enough to equal 4 store bought packets).

Notes:  Mix 2 Tablespoons of spice blend, with 2/3 cup oil, 1/4 cup vinegar (apple cider or red wine), and 2 Tablespoons water.

Gail’s Notes:  I’ve not tried making this seasoning mix yet, but definitely plan to try it soon!
