4-Ingredient Slow Cooker Sticky Ribs
4-Ingredient Slow Cooker Sticky Ribs
This 4-Ingredient Slow Cooker Sticky Ribs recipe is the ultimate fuss-free comfort dish—tender, fall-off-the-bone ribs coated in a rich, sweet-and-savory glaze, all made effortlessly in your slow cooker with minimal prep and maximum flavor.
Ingredients:
1.5 –2 kg pork ribs, baby back or spare ribs
1 cup barbecue sauce
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
Instructions:
Prepare the ribs
Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs (optional but recommended for tenderness). Cut ribs into sections if needed to fit your slow cooker.
Make the sauce
In a bowl, mix together the barbecue sauce, soy sauce, and brown sugar until smooth.
Assemble in slow cooker
Place the ribs inside the slow cooker. Pour the sauce mixture evenly over the ribs, making sure they’re well coated.
Cook low and slow:
Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or on HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the ribs are very tender and nearly falling off the bone.
Optional finishing (recommended)
For that sticky, caramelized finish, transfer the ribs to a baking tray, brush with extra sauce, and broil in the oven for 3–5 minutes until glossy and slightly charred.
