Light, fresh, and flavor-packed — this creamy crab pasta salad is the ultimate chilled dish for warm weather lunches, potlucks, or easy seafood sides.

📝 Ingredients

For the Salad:

2 cups bowtie pasta (or small pasta of choice), cooked & cooled
2 cups imitation crab meat (surimi), chopped 
1 cup cucumber, thinly sliced
1 cup carrots, peeled & chopped
¼ cup red onion, finely diced (optional)
2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
Salt & black pepper, to taste

For the Creamy Dressing:

¾ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp Dijon mustard
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
Salt & black pepper, to taste

👨‍🍳 How to Make It

Cook the Pasta
Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water. Set aside.

Make the Dressing
Whisk together mayo, sour cream, lemon juice, Dijon, and seasonings until smooth and creamy.

Chop the Veggies & Crab
Dice crab into bite-sized chunks. Slice cucumbers, carrots, and red onion finely.

Mix the Salad
In a large bowl, combine pasta, crab, veggies, and dill. Add dressing and toss gently to coat.

Chill and Serve
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Stir before serving and garnish with extra dill or a crack of black pepper.
