Homemade Boursin Cheese

May be an image of text that says 'Boursin Cheese Crearny Boursin Cheese is herby, garlicky, and utterly delicious! Blend softened cream cheese & butter, then whip in parsley, chives, garlic powder, salt peppe & vinegar. Shape chill & enjoy!'

Ingredients:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp dried chives
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 to 1/2 tsp salt (start with 1/4 tsp and add more to taste)
1/8 tsp black pepper (optional)

Instructions:
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and softened butter. Beat with an electric mixer or a fork until smooth and well combined.
  2. 2. Add the dried parsley, dried chives, garlic powder, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. 3. Taste the mixture. If desired, add another 1/4 teaspoon of salt and the black pepper, mixing again. Adjust seasonings to your preference.
  4. 4. Scrape the Boursin cheese into an airtight container. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld and the cheese to firm up slightly.
  5. 5. Serve chilled with your favorite crackers, fresh vegetables, or crusty bread. Enjoy!
