Dijon Mushroom Cream Chicken
INGREDIENTS:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS:
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Season
the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Place them in the skillet and
cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and thoroughly
cooked. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sliced mushrooms. Cook until the mushrooms have softened.
Stir in the Dijon mustard and heavy cream, mixing until well combined.
Return the chicken to the skillet, allowing it to simmer in the sauce for a few minutes until warmed through.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
