Prep Time: 10 minutes | Cooking Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 25 minutes | Servings: 4 servings

Ingredients:

For the beef:

1 lb ground beef (or beef strips)
2 tablespoons butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons honey
1/4 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
Salt and pepper to taste

For the tacos:

8 small corn or flour tortillas
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded lettuce
1/4 cup diced tomatoes
1/4 cup diced red onions
Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish
Lime wedges for serving

Directions:

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Add the ground beef (or beef strips) to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and cumin.
Once the beef is cooked through, add honey, BBQ sauce, and soy sauce to the pan. Stir to combine and let it simmer for about 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and coats the beef evenly.
While the beef mixture is simmering, warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until soft and pliable.
To assemble the tacos, place a spoonful of the garlic butter honey BBQ beef onto each tortilla. Top with shredded cheddar cheese, lettuce, diced tomatoes, red onions, and fresh cilantro.
Serve with lime wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
