GARLIC BUTTER BAKED SCALLOPS
GARLIC BUTTER BAKED SCALLOPS

Ingredients:
- 1 lb sea scallops, cleaned and patted dry
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
Prepare the garlic butter: In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Set aside.
Season the scallops: Arrange the scallops in a single layer in the prepared baking dish. Season with salt and pepper.
Top
the scallops: Pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over the scallops.
Sprinkle panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese on top for a crunchy,
cheesy finish.
Bake:
Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or
until the scallops are opaque and the topping is golden brown.
Garnish
and serve: Remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve
with lemon wedges for an extra burst of freshness.
Helpful Tips:
For extra crispiness, you can broil the scallops for 1-2 minutes at the end of the baking time.
Serve these scallops over pasta, rice, or with a side of crusty bread to soak up the delicious garlic butter sauce.
