Total Time: 30 minutes
Servings: 4
Ingredients:
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt & pepper to taste
1 teaspoon paprika
1 bulb garlic (roasted*)
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Chopped parsley for garnish
Directions:
Roast the Garlic: Cut the top off a garlic bulb, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast at 400°F (200°C) for 35–40 minutes. Let cool, then squeeze out the roasted cloves and mash.
Cook the bowtie pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook shrimp 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter and stir in the mashed roasted garlic.
Add heavy cream, chicken broth, and crushed red pepper (if using). Simmer for 3–4 minutes.
Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
Add cooked bowtie pasta and shrimp back into the skillet. Toss to coat everything in the sauce.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
This creamy garlic shrimp pasta tastes like a restaurant-style dish but comes together in one pan. Perfectly cozy, perfectly comforting!
