Easy Pork Chop Casserole (TNT)


Ingredients

12 tbs               all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp              salt
1/4 tsp              pepper
3 ea                   bone-in pork loin chops (3/4-inch thick and 8 ounces each)
1 tbs                  canola oil
1/2 can             condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted (~5 ounces)
1/2 cup             sour cream, divided
1/3 cup             chicken broth
1/4 tsp              ground ginger
1/8 tsp              dried rosemary, crushed
1/2 can             french-fried onions, divided  (~1.4 ounces)

Directions

 

In a large plastic resealable bag, combine the flour, salt and pepper. Add pork chops, one at a time, and shake to coat.

 

In a large skillet, brown pork chops in oil on both sides. Arrange in a single layer in an ungreased 11-in. x 7-in. baking dish. In a large bowl, combine the soup, 1/4 cup sour cream, broth, ginger and rosemary; pour over chops. Sprinkle with half of onions.

 

Cover and bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes or until tender. Stir remaining sour cream into sauce. Sprinkle with remaining onions. Bake, uncovered, for 10 minutes or until onions are browned.

 

Yield: 3 servings. 

 

Gail's Notes:  This was super simple to made and very tasty!  I will definitely make this again!
