Swiss Tuna Bake Recipe (TNT)
Swiss Tuna Bake Recipe
4 Servings Prep/Total Time: 30 min.
Ingredients
4 cups cooked medium egg noodles
1-1/2 cups (6 ounces) shredded Swiss cheese
1 cup mayonnaise
1 can (6 ounces) tuna, drained and flaked
1 cup seasoned bread crumbs, divided (see Gail's Note below)
Directions
In a large bowl, combine the noodles, cheese, mayonnaise and tuna. Sprinkle 1/2 cup bread crumbs into a greased 9-in. square baking dish. Spread noodle mixture over crumbs. Sprinkle with the remaining crumbs. Bake, uncovered, at 350°.
Gail's Notes: This was very good and easy to put together (not to mention inexpensive). When I made this, I added melted butter and parmesean cheese to the bread crumbs before putting them into the casserole--definitely a good idea! Next time I will add sweet peas and/oor finely shredded carrots, just to add a little more "yumm!" to the dish!
