Gail's Favorite Super-easy Slow Cooker Roast (TNT)

Gail's Favorite Super-easy Slow Cooker Roast (TNT)             Prep Time: ~10 Minutes Cook Time: ~6 Hours Servings: ~6 Ingredients: 1 cup water 1 (.7 oz) package dry Italian-style salad dressing mix 1 (1 oz) package ranch dressing mix (1 oz = 2 tbs) 1 (.75 oz) packet dry brown gravy mix 1 (3 lb) boneless beef chuck roast Directions: Whisk together the water, Italian dressing mix, ranch dressing mix, and brown gravy mix together in a bowl until smooth. Place the beef roast into a slow cooker, and pour the sauce over top. Cook on Low until the roast is easily pierced by a fork, 6 to 8 hours. Gail's Note :  This is a fabulously easy and tasty beef roast! The only thing different that I do is brown the roast prior to placing it in the crock pot as it tends to add better texture to the roast.

Gail's Favorite Chinese Fried Ramen Noodles (TNT) Prep Time: 15 Minutes Cook Time: 25 Minutes        Ready In: 40 Minutes Servings: 6 "A quick and easy stir-fry using ramen noodles and any variety of your favorite vegetables and meat, with a little hint of sesame and soy." INGREDIENTS: 2 (3 ounce) packages Oriental flavored ramen noodles 3 eggs, beaten vegetable oil 4 green onions, thinly sliced          1 small carrot, peeled and grated 1/2 cup green peas 1/4 cup red bell pepper, minced 2 tablespoons sesame oil soy sauce DIRECTIONS: Boil ramen noodles for 3 minutes, or until softened, without flavor packets. My Favorite Macaroni Salad EVER! (TNT) This is my now favorite pasta salad on the planet! Who knew something this simple and easy to put together could taste so good and feel so comfy (this is definitely "comfort" food so far as I'm concerned)! :-) Ingredients: 3/4 cup uncooked elbow macaroni 1/2 cup diced ham pieces 4 or 5 cooked bacon pieces, crumbled into small bits 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese 2 TBS chopped celery 2 TBS shredded carrot 2 TBS chopped sweet onion (or green onion will work, too!) 2 TBS chopped roasted sweet peppers 6 TBS mayonnaise 6 TBS sour cream 1/2 TBS Dijon Mustard (or to taste) 1/4 tsp onion powder (or to taste) 1/4 tsp garlic powder (or to taste) 1/4 tsp salt (or to taste) 1/8 tsp ground black pepper (or to taste) Cook macaroni noodles according to package directions, drain then rinse in cold water, and set aside. Ingredients 1 tablespoon butter 1 tablespoon flour 1 cup of milk 1 can of cream of mushroom soup 6 ounces canned tuna 1 cup noodles or pasta, cooked according to package directions 1/4 cup celery 1/2 cup chopped onion 1 cup shredded cheese, you can use American, Monterey Jack, or Parmesan cheese 1/2 cup bread crumbs 1 tablespoon butter for bread crumbs Instructions Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Baked Chicken Wings for 2 (TNT)             Ingredients: 3 tablespoons olive oil 3 cloves garlic, pressed 2 teaspoons chili powder 1 teaspoon garlic powder 2 tablespoons brown sugar ( see note below ) salt and ground black pepper to taste 10 chicken wings Directions: Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). C ombine the olive oil, garlic, chili powder, garlic powder, brown sugar, salt, and pepper in a large, resealable bag; seal and shake to combine. Add the chicken wings; reseal and shake to coat. Arrange the chicken wings on a baking sheet. Cook the wings in the preheated oven 1 hour, or until crisp and cooked through. Gail's Notes: This was really good and the wings had a crispness to them that was just right! * The only change I made to the recipe was adding the 2 TBS of brown sugar to the original mix, which turned out to be a very good idea.   Update: I just made this again...
